Should Christians Judge The Teachings Of Their Leaders?

Christians need to be Biblically literate in order to judge teachings of their leaders!Not only is judging permissible, it is our responsibility! Nobody’s teachings are above sound judgment, especially those of influential leaders! Biblically, authority and accountability go hand-in-hand (cf. Luke 12:48). The greater the responsibility one holds, the greater the accountability (cf. James 3:1).

Hebrew Old Testament book of LeviticusOne of the most common objections the Genesis account of creation concerns the reference to Cain’s wife in Genesis 4:17. Unless God supernaturally created a wife for Cain as he had for Adam, he would have had to engage in incest with one of his sisters.

Marriage between an unbeliever and a believerIn his first letter to the Corinthian Christians, Paul says, “the unbelieving husband has been sanctified though his wife, and the unbelieving wife has been sanctified through her husband” (7:14). Does this mean that unbelievers are saved by virtue of being married to believers?
